i watched you'r episode on teens and sex these days.. this is what i think,im chelsea and 17


why do people(and mostly teens) have/allow sex in this generation?

The biggest problem is alot of adults are becoming weaker and the worst to say,but stupider when it comes to allowing there kids to have sex and just telling them to use protection. The media and the world exposes it to much to infulence kids to do it and it is becoming a "fad". What they see off Tv, and pornography is the worst influence. Most of the time once they get influence by the stupid media and do it, it's hard for them to stop. The world has forgot about "absence" and waiting till after marriage [the right way] they have just pushed it away, and came up with there new worldly things MAKING it  sound OK! when in reatity it's not! and teens like it because NOW it's easy for them to get away with it. The "world" even inflences parents to tell there kids "use protection, go on the pill!'  and it's  NOT RIGHT! parents need to step up and explain and tell there kids why its so wrougn!  many right this have been pushed away in the world these days.. the world is coming up with excusses and getting weak, it really needs to get back to being more assertive,along with parents! Now you want to hear reason why these excusses are stupid and need to stop.

1: use protection

YOU can still get pregnant when you use protection. even when you think you won't YOU COULD! I bet if there wasn't any such thing as condoms there would be a much lower percent of teens going out and having sex. You can still get HIV, AID they break, fall off, accidents happen. The media doesn't care about you,they know it can happen they just want there money.

Some parents also, are getting influenced into just handing them over to there childeren insteed of Talking to them about it,there getting weak and there suppose to be assertive. They set bad examples by doing this,because if there parents did it, they will probably hand them over to there kids one day, and the in the next generation it will be alot worse.

2:put her on birth controll.

So i understand some girls have to be put on birth controll for some health issues. But  i don't think it's right for a parent to be putting her daughter on birth controll because she doesn't want her getting pregnant. This makes it seem like she doesn't care that her daughter is going out having sex. It makes it seem like sex is being allowed. It's not right! if it's a helth issuse,then it's fine. But keeping her from getting pregnant is also understandable,but that parent wouldn't even have that problem if they didn't allow it. If you'r daughter chooses to have sex,and then gets pregnant, its a lesson she learned.The pill also has MANY bad side affects like heart promblems,prosant cancer,bladder disease and many more. Thats why you don't have sex before marriage. We have all forgot waiting till after you'r married is the right way,and doing that with the person you'r suppose to be with. Even before you'r married and with that person, you should always wait cause there is consequences.

3.because "were in love"

Well, you'r young and inlove now, and think you will be together forever. It is possible! and who ever you are i hope the best for you it's true! it may or nay not be.But still, The reason you should wait is because, you DON'T  know what you'r  future holds exactly. Things happen, to two people  and change and go sepret ways sometimes and grow apart[and would NEVER in there life expect it], and they have heard it is ok to have sex before marriage when you'r "in love" but REALLY do you even want to risk it! wouldn't you rather wait/save you self till after you'r married when you know it's the right time and that is the right person. Most people don't care these days, but it is a sin. God says to wait till after you'r married. Alot of people who  end up having sex with there so called "one there going to be with forever" could break up, and they do get hurt, so some feel they think it makes them feel better about them self to keep doing it intill they find that one..or even think each person is "the one". I mean If someone REALLY loves you, they will wait to,that means they care. would you rather wait and go in  the right direction, or get hurt, and  possbly screw part of you'r life up. Most people also don't care about this...but It is a curse on a relationship to have sex before marriage [most break up]you can be forgiven.,and God blesses the ones who wait.

you need to talk to you'r kids, instead of being weak parents,insteed of handing condoms/birth controll over to there kids that can cause consequences they will be scared to do it.
and if they do, they can learn a lesson Thats what kids need to learn from there mistakes and no the diffrence between right and wroung.im tired of people being so weak and not speaking up!!! following what the world says!!
