Use of Prednisone for IVF FET implantation

HI all,
I am going to have FET this cycle. I have done 4 IVFs and SO many IUI, no luck at all. According to my RE there is nothing wrong with my Uterus cavity. While checking on internet I saw so many blogs about Prednisone being used to increase implantation. I was wondering if :

someone has used it,
what was the outcome
What dose
when to start
for how long did you use it
any precautions when you were on it

I'll appreciate all the experiences, opinions advises becoz I am very desperate now...

Thanks

Oh Ellen...I have goose bumps now.....you went through all that and I know how does it feel to see even a spot and you had clots....But I am glad baby is fine..LOTS and LOTS of prayers and best wishes for you.
Yes even stressful is a small word.....it's almost like end of world moment  there is a spot or a BFN on HPT. BUT what can we do....nothing except for keep trying

Sorry I forgot to answer the rest of your question.
I will be in the 10th week starting Sunday.  I had a bad scare earlier this week.  I woke up drenched in blood and was passing 1/2 dollar size clots.  I went in for an urgent scan and the baby was doing fine.  We are not sure where the blood is coming from.  I go in a few days for another scan.  You are 100% right when you say this is stressful

I'm glad it was only once.  You could of had the spotting because of cervical irritation if you are using the suppositories.  It is really hard to know exactly what is going on but I think its a great idea to increase your progesterone till you get those levels checked.

Thanks for the support Arielle. Congrats for twins. How far along you are in your pregnancy.
As for my spotting, it occurred only once yesterday morning. I told to my Nurse about it and she suggested to increase the dose of progesterone which I did, and now clear so far. But it's SO STRESS FULL to go to washroom every time...as I am so scared to see pink/red spot again (by the way what color your spotting was, mine was REAL PINK.....).
Also I am not sure as the increase in dose now may be too late as I increase it on 11DPT of my 5 day embryo. So at the time when my embies had to implant I was on lower dose so if level were low during that crucial period, then increasing the dose now not going to help any more.
But lets see......I am keeping my fingers crossed

Try to stay positive.....I had spotting everyday and everything is still fine.  My spotting started about 4dpt and have yet to stop.  However, my two little ones are growing just fine and have heartbeats and everything.

Ellen,, how is the 10th week going. Hope your baby just stay stuck and grow...:)
I had spotting this morning ( half an hour ago when I went to washroom at 5 am). This can't be implantation spotting becoz today is my 11dpt of 5 days embryo. Does that mean it's  a BFN again. I am going for my progesterone levesl today...may be it's already too late, but I am curious and want to know my level,

mhv,
I never had progesterone levels done post transfer in past. But Ellen is right, it's very important and clinics should keep an eye on it. So yes I am spotting, you said that you had implantation spotting on day 6-7 or 8, but I am today 11dpt so I don't know ......
