Uti and implantation

I’m currently in my two week wait with implantation and trying to get pregnant. I think I currently have a UTI. Is it safe to take azo or meds used to treat a UTI while trying to  conceive? Will it interfere with implantation?

Some antibiotics can increase the risk of a miscarriage.  If you are considering taking antibiotics, you should definitely inform your doctor that you are trying to conceive, so that he/she can prescribe the right antibiotics.

Azo should not be used to treat a urinary infection.  It is designed for symptom relief only, and is considered safe to take during pregnancy.
