Good luck sweetie....this TTC **** is for the birds! (until we all get our BFP's)
Heather
Thank you all for your encouraging comments! I was just so very frustrated and emotional this morning. I have calmed down alot. We will still BD tonight. I bought preseed today so will give it a try. I think very highly of my RE and their staff and trust they know what is best. I scheduled a consult on May 20 (the day after my 29th birthday) to see what our next step is. Insurance covers IVF, but I do think I would like to try Femara before taking that step. Thank you again for your responses and listenting to my venting. Best wishes to all of you.
Better than nothing. Even though your doctor said no IUI, but BD is still an option for you. You never know. I think he is honest man not want to take your money while he know you might not success this month. Give him some credit for that. He knows what best for you. If you don't BD tonight, then there is be no chance or hope for you this cycle.
If you don't buy lottery ticket, how can you sit at home and wishing to win lottery. Even a small chance, you do need to try. If not turn out to be this month, at least you can look back and said, I did try
Good luck to you

This is exactly how it happens, when you least expect it...don't get down miracles do happen and this is exactly why we are all here!!! I would BD anyway a few times over this O week and don't look at it as a chore but rather a stress free way to express your love to each other. Not with the "chore" of conception. Get it out of your mind that your tube is 100% nonfunctional, it is still in there right? Well, if life is the survival of the fittest and God has a will for this month's egg it could happen. You have 0% chance if you don't BD but at least you have some chance if you do.
You never know, with the "relief" of not stressing about conceiving this month it may just happen!
I'm so sorry to hear that, mim. TTC can be frustrating enough as is... I would BD anyway, though, just in case.
I did clomid one cycle only, because it totally dried up my cervical mucus. I'm now on my first month on Femara, and haven't had any side effects at all. On my CD13 sonogram, I had two follicles, one at 18 and one at 18.5. Maybe you could ask your RE about trying Femara for a few months instead of clomid. It's still just a pill and it's fairly inexpensive, as opposed to injectibles.
Hopefully things will turn around for you soon, and you'll get your BFP!
Sorry to hear that. I had a cycle that was halted b/c I had 2 lt ovarian cysts and I remember how frustrated I was! Sometimes as we can do is vent. Get it out of you system girlfriend! Vent on! You have every right to be dissappointed. I know I was. I was so frustrated. I hope in the near future you can find out what you next steps will be.
