Sorry to post on a Holiday, but help........

I was wondering if you could please help me.  I bought a 50-pk of some OPK's on ebay right after my miscarriage in August.  My cycles have been irregular since then as i had some problems (2 D and C's, lenghty bleeding, etc).  My husband and i are ready to try again, but i didn't have faith in the ebay OPK's b/c i was having difficulty reading them.  So, i bought some ANSWER brand OPK's.  Well, i've been getting negative results on the eBay test sticks and positive on the Answer brands (yes, i just HAD to pee on both of them- heeheehee)!  I have been following directions religiously, but can't understand why this is happening 2 days in a row.  I BD'ed yesterday, trusting the Answer brand, but again today, ebay OPK neg and Answer postive (stop laughing that i POAS with BOTH brands again today)!  This is driving me nuts -- please, any advice!!!! To help you not feel like a dork for POAS on both brands 2 days in a row, let me share my story of today....
I have been using OPK's since Dec of last year, and never once have had a positive result, though I did get pregnant in May, and lost her in October. So I started trying them again this month. I got the 20 strip pack this month, the kinds where you dip them in the pee, but once you open the tube that holds them all, they say they expire in 30 days, so it's still just one month worth. I felt ovulatory pain & had EWCM on Tuesday, so I figured I once again was not going to get a positive OPK, I've used them for the last week. Well, this morning I got up and POAS the first one and it was positive!! Woo hoo!!!! Since I was hosting my whole family for dinner, I put all the POAS paraphernalia away so they could use the bathroom without knowing all our business. But how many do you think I used today???? FIVE! Yep, every time I had to pee, I just had to check again. I was SO excited to have a positive test finally! Luckily, we BD early this morning, before I even tested.
I agree with the rest of the people tho-trust the Answer brands. That's what kind I've used this month. I think I have 6 left, I wonder how many I'll pee on tomorrow... That stinks that the ebay ones aren't acting right. Thank goodness you got the other brand too!

The Answer brand are the ONLY ones that work for me.

Probably old, dusty, expired (sounds like me) test strips.  Trust the answer brand.  You are not the only one who POAS twice.  I often double check my "two line" tests when the color looks close but not quite identical, with the digital smiley face test.

I would trust the answer brand.  The other ones may have been old or something!  Good luck and happy thanksgiving!

Maybe the ebay ones were expired????
