Hello,
I'm not familiar with Metamorfin but I believe it has to do with regulating your hormones to help you ovulate. I think it has some effect on Insulin levels because Insulin can have an effect on ovulation somehow. Sorry I don't have all the info, but hopefuly someone else will respond.

I use Metformin. I use it for PCOS to help with the cysts. It makes it so that I don't have any cysts on my overies.
Same here.. I use metformin for PCOS.
Metformin is used to treat insulin resistance. Used in diabetics and women with pcos. Metformin will regulate the insulin in your body so that cysts shrink and ovulation can occur usually with the help of clomid.
I was thought to have mild PCOS over the last several years. My current doc doesn't seem to think so, but my progesterone is coming back borderline low every month. 11.4 last month and 9.3 this month. It appears I do ovulate every month and have regular mensus... Could this low progesterone be a sign of PCOS and what other hormones are affected by PCOS?
Usually, irregular menses are one of the 1st signs of PCOS. This is from the cysts causing a delay or absence of o. Your progesterone highly suggests ovulatory activity and likely o itself. You don't sound like you have any of the typical PCOS symptoms.
I use meformin for pcos also so that i can ovulate but i have only been on it for 5 days i hope it works for me
