What's Going On?? Am I okay??

I'm 17, and I was on birth contol for a year or two. then i switched to the patch. but then i quit birth control completely. Before I got on birth control I was sometimes having two periods a month. But since I've quit birth control completely, so has my periods. The last time i had a period was so long ago I dont even remember. all I remember was it only lasted a day. I know im not pregnant, because my mom has made me take preg. tests, and they all come back negative, and i dont have any nausea or vomiting. My boyfriend and I are very concerned because we want to get married and have kids someday. He knows about this, but doesnt know what to think. I have this constant fear of how i might not ever have kids because of this. and yes my mom also knows about this too. she wants me to go to the doctor but i personally dont want to go and  dont want to worry about it right now. [even tho i am] also when i was younger [since i lived with my aunt and my uncle] i was molested by my uncle for i think 7 years. it began when i was very young and ended when i was 13. he never had intercourse with my but did some pretty bad things that left me devestated when i got older. please help me. and if you need any other facts please contact me asap.

Thank you for your time,
Kristin P.

yes i understand that when you come off of birth control your periods might stop a while, but mine seem to have completely stopped and i think the last time i actually had one lasted for one day and it was over 6 months ago i believe.
thanx for your opinion

When you come of of birth controel it is normal not to have periods for awhile.  But if you havent had anything for a few months I would definetly go visit a doctor.  There are things they can do now, so that when you get ready to have kids you will be able to.  There are so many things with our bodies that we dont know whats going on.  I think you better go to the doctor.  It will ease  your mind as well.
Good Luck
