What's the liklihood???

I had an hCG injection on Friday morning (6/1) and an IUI later that afternoon. I ovulated Thursday night and then possibly that weekend as well. 7 DPO I tested positive (very light line). I am aware that this could be the end of the hCG leaving my body, but what is the liklihood that it could really just be that I am pregnant?? I will test again on Sunday (DPO 10) and again later next week, but I was wondering if anyone else out there has had similar experiences??

Well,I had my ET on 5/24 and I took  a HCG shot 8 days after that (6/1). I tested on 6/6 and I got a faint positive. I was not sure if it was the leftover from the HCG shot that I took...Even the SIRM docs confirmed that HCG is eliminated for your system by half the amount everyday. I'm happy to report that I had my blood test on 6/7 and it was a positive result. Really difficult to guess whether its the HCG or not but hold on to hope.
Good luck.

How much was the trigger, 5000 or 10000? The rule of thumb is it decreases by 1/2 every 28hrs. Some go quicker. If tomorrow is darker line, may be indication is real. But not proof positive.

Maybe I misread your post but I'm totally confused.  You are saying you had HCG trigger on friday and IUI on the same day???  That is really unusual.  Usually it would be 24 - 36 hours after the trigger shot.

Also, you said you ovulated thursday.  Is that the thursday before or after the hcg trigger?

Also, how do you ovulate more than once in a month?
