When to stop Progesterone?

Hi,

I'm 9.1 weeks now. I am taking one Crinone 8% gel and one Endometrin 100mg per day. My last progesterone level was 16 on the 8th week. And my fertility doctor told me to stop progesterone when I complete my 10 weeks, that is on Nov 2nd. But I'm afraid to stop it on the 10th week, because I have had previous m/cs. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

My doc told me to stop at 10 weeks but when I told him I still had enough meds to take me to 12 weeks he said ok, that it would do no harm. :)

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I wish I could continue it until 12 weeks. I'll talk to my OB/Gyn this week.

My doctor let me continue it until I was 12 weeks along. Once I stopped I had no problems and am now 25 weeks preggers.  I I was like you and scared to stop it. :)  You will be fine. The placenta has now taken over.
