Why do nurses act soo Unprofessional. Grrrrr

I've been reading several different threads and in everyone there's a story that irks me about nurses not being able to keep their opinions to themselves. Ex:  "Don't get your hopes up" "Prepare yourself for the worse" "The numbers aren't as high as I'd like to see" (even though they've doubled?! wth!!!??) There's worse comments that I cant' even think of at this point, but you get my point,,right? argh! lol, Where is the compassion from these evil lil nurses?
Are these  nurses Cold hearted? Please tell me its the same bloody nurse!! I'd hate to think there's more than one nurse out there like THAT!!
The nurses at the Fertility Clinic that I went to with the Intended Parents (i'm a surrogate) were very professional, and kind and never made me wait longer then an hour if I'd email them with a question. And if I called them they never sounded as tho they were rushing me off the phone.

I'm Irked and sadden that some of you ladies had to listen to what these nurses had to say that had made you worry. And CHEERS to those who made it as far as reporting the negative attitudes of the staff . By doing that you've helped another couple ttc avoid necessary fears.

101 reasons I guess...eh? Maybe they've given up on ttc themselves? or maybe they just need to thaw out, or maybe they need a HUG!! Maybe they got kicked out of Charm School !!! lol.

I could go on and on....Please Ladies,,,if you ever meet this type of a nurse that makes ya feel worried because she has voiced HER opinion, ignore it,,and wait for test results and then talk w/ur dr.

I think they think they are helping, who knows why people say these horrible things.  The experiences that I have had have all came from my obgyn and family doctor.  The nurses at my RE are amazing!  I think nurses at obgyn's don't understand how emotional and upsetting ttc can be.  Nurses at an RE's office see the pain daily.  I agree hopefully they are all the same nurse lol.

It just shows how strong us ladies are to deal with the ignorant comments and not hurt anyone :)
