Why does body temp rise during menstuation?

I'm taking a biology course and
I cant find this answer anywhere. it's for extra credit. What is the cause of a rise in body temp in women during their menstruation.

Yeah, Helen is right! Your temperature does not rise during menstruation, but after you ovulate. This is caused by the rise in progesterone. It will stay elevated from ovulation until the next menstruation. Good luck with your extra credit!

Your body temp rises during ovulation (because of hormone production by your corpus luteum) and then it falls when corpus luteum dies and you get your period.
