anyone have this?

allright put as simple as i can: for cd 3,4,5,6,7 i did 75iu of gonal f.  at bw and us i had 4 cysts and several small follicles, E2 was 77.4, uterine lining 5.8.  so re instructed me to do 74iu of gonal f cd 8 and 9.  went for bw and us and E2 was 99.7, uterine lining 6.5, several small follicles and cysts were still measureable...  re told me to do more gonal f 75iu cd 10 and 11.  today is cd 12 and had bw and us this morning---  HERE IS THE TROUBLING PART.....todays bw and us results=  small follies turned into nice plumpy follies but E2 DROPPED to a disgusting 72.7  :(  uterine lining was nice too-- 9.9 with multiple layers....  so once again re told me to do gonal f but this time 112iu for tonight, tomorrow, and thursday night then return on friday for more bw and us.  why on earth is my estrogen level so darn LOW?  any opinions are welcome and greatly appreciated...thanks for listening :)

Ask your doc about an estrogen patch. I used to wear one for a week in between iui and prog test (one week) when I was on Clomid.

I just finished a cycle taking 75 follistim, cd5-9 and then continuing for two more nights before triggering. They did not monitor my E2 during that time, nor did I wear an estrogen patch, so I am sorry I can't be more helpful in that regard.

I did get a BFP though, after ovulating 6 follicles. My prog was in the mid40s after 1 week. I have my first sonogram March 13, but still have not had e2 measured.

I don't know much about this - but I know that during an u/s I had awhile back -- the doctor was measuring my follicles, cysts, etc.  I asked him how he can tell the difference between the cyst and the follicle and he said "we can't really - the estrogen level will be the indicator; if it is high - they are follicles and if it isn't, they are cysts!" - so maybe one of your 'follicles' was really a cyst?

Just giving theories - HTH!! :)

I never heard something like this since the follicle growth is usually stricly connected to E2 levels.
What did you dr said?
I think you should call him and ask the question.
Sorry for not being more helpful..
Good luck,
Miky
