scrotal ultrasound

My husband and I have been trying to concieve.  After a few tests my husbands sperm count was zero and a scrotal ultrasound was ordered.  The doctor who ordered the u.s. has referred us to a urologist.  He did not know what it meant that there is a dialated tubular structure.  Our apt with the urologist is next week, but I am trying to figure out what this means.  Is it varicocele and if it is will surgery help a sperm count of zero or should we be using donated sperm before spending on a surgery that may not help at all, not to mention my husband probably does not want to have surgery anyhow.

My husband and I are about to start IUI procedures because he has varicocele. We aren't going to have him do surgery to correct it. When I looked up info online about the surgery it didn't seem to promising. I heard from other people on here to buy Fertility Blend for Men online. I'm going to buy it next week. It's suppose to increase the sperm count.

I'm not sure if a dialated tubular structure is a varicocele, but it sounds like it might be?!   There is a techinique though that can help people that have O sperm count still concieve  biological children- they actually do surgery on the guy (not even under general anesthesia) and cut out some of the testicular tissue itself and then search for sperm.. they retrieve eggs from the female, and then the same day that they are doing the surgery on the guy to get the testicular tissue and search for sperm, they do ICSI and then a few days later transfer them back to the female!   So lots of people have concieved this way ever with azospermia (0 sperm count!)   GOOD LUCK!!! keep us updated!
