anyone who's over 40 and taking clomid?
im 43 and this is my first cycle of clomid, i am 3 days late but hpt result is negative. i dont have pregnant symptoms aside from headache.. is there anyone herewho's over 40 and taking clomid?

Hi. I took Clomid at age 40. It didn't work for me because my numbers were terrible. My estradiol (E2) needed to be under 80 and it was 226. Because of this I was not a candidate for IVF. I learned this on my 41st birthday. Not an ideal birthday present, to say the least.
All this said, tons of women get pregnant over 40 and have perfectly healthy babies. If your RE says you have a good shot then I say go or it!!
