Yes i have known a lot of bigger women who have managed to get pregnant. Sadly my husband also has low sperm count so it may be more difficult anyway but i think i will look into weight watchers as it cant hurt, it was just a bit mean how the doctor put it across! I also have an irregular cycle but when me and hubby do the deed often (every 2-5 nights) it seems to regulate my cycle, so am wondering if i would still be able to track my ovulation with irregular cycle?

That's 196 lbs.?  As you say, not that bad, though of course you could lose some; is ideal weight for 5'11 about 144 lbs?  In any case, I have known plenty of bigger girls who have gotten pregs.  It can be an issue especially in relation to blood pressure, so by all means do what you can to drop some weight, but I would also drop the tactless doctor and get a different one who can give you good weight-loss advice.  Is there a Weight Watchers group near where you are?  They are great.
