best advice...

I have irregular cycles and I just started taking birth control pills july 29,2013 to regulate it. Before I started the pill I didn't get my period in may or july But any other month i did get it. i was getting my cycles at the end of the month, sometimes. This happened to me twice this year for the first time, I never missed a period. And my periods were heavy, bad cramps and lasts 5-6 days. So back to the main subject, I started bc pills and on the 10th day of taking them I started my period which was august 14th, 2013 and its medium bleeding and lil cramps but nothing bad at all. So does this mean the pills are regulating my period back on track? I dont know much about bc pill. I have to take bc pills for 3 months, so october would b my last month taking them. Im trying to conceive so bad. And also, how long should I wait to try for a baby? I got on bc pills to help regulate my cycles again. And when should i start taking prenatal vitamins? Someone please give good understandable advice.

I was told by my doctor to start TTC after my first cycle off of BC. So I stopped taking my BC in June, I had a normal cycle in July and now my doctor told me to start TTC and use the over the counter ovulation tests. I also was told to start taking prenatal vitamins right away, but I would recommend the gummies and take them at night. The other vitamin pills make me feel really sick, and I have also talked to other people who they also make them sick and they all recommended the gummy version of prenatals.

Also I have PCOS, so I have always had irregular periods so I was put on BC for a year to help regulate my periods. But I also have tons of questions when it comes to TTC, but I'll try to help if you need anything.
