Hello, I have been trying to figure out what insurance covers tubal reversal. I saw that you were saying Blue shield/Blue cross cover tubal reversal? So was your reversal this year? My husband and I are wanting a baby with each other bad but I had a tubal reversal 3yrs ago and now that im recently married and im not getting younger. Just trying to get all information on the cheapest way for us to have a baby cause we don't have money like that.
Thank you for your input
I live in florida and i have medicaid with united health care i ask for a tubal reversal they said they wont covered because is like a cosmetic .
Lol its okay I understood it and thank you :)
Im on my I phone right now & it changes my words sorry for the error. It should have said research your doctor well!!
My Reversal was covered mainly by my insurance BC/BS. I had to pay deductibles co pays etc. I have read where some ladies spent about 6,000.00 on a reversal. But research the do toe doing it well!!! The recovery wasnt that bad it was like a mini C-Section about a 10-12 inch bikini cut. It was not as bad as I thought it was going 2 be at all. Check with your health insurance & see if infertility treatments & a reversal are covered in your policy they are all different. Hope this helps!!!
Good Luck,
Heather
Was the reversal expensive? And how long was the recovery?
A tubal reversal or IVF would have to be done. I had a reversal in Jan & we are trying just finished first cycle of Clomid to help with regular ovulation. You should find a fertility doctor and discuss it all with him. He can tell you which option would be better for you depending on the tubal you had done. Hope this helps!!!
