cant get pregnant

I have been trying to get pregnant for a little over 2 years now and I'm starting to think I can't have kids. I've always had irregular period as a teenager. I visited multiple doctors, they ran tests and found that my testosterone level was a little higher then it should be. They prescribed metmorfin and i began getting a period every month. Eventually I ran out and couldn't get anymore because I can't afford health insurance. My menstrual cycle became irregular once again so I started taking birth control pills( I was on antibiotics a couple of times while on the pill)  although they were working I discontinued because it was causing me to gain too much weight. Ive been off of it for 5 months now and not using any protection and still nothing.

Remember now. I say try anything it takes to get that baby. I know u really want that baby and I know how frustrated it can be. I get that feelings sometime too but I never gave up. If it take trying the home tests, do it. Try any mthod u can manage to try. U can chart your temperature and try opk. Recently i have heard about preseed lubricant and i will be trying it out soon while on Clomid and metformin. All the best hun and take care.

Its very stressful because I'm currently not using anything and I've been getting my period every month but no luck. I'm not sure if I'm not ovulating or what. I've contemplated on trying those home test to see if I'm ovulating but I'm not sure if it's reliable.

I have the same complaint.  I was diagnosed with pcos. My period was irregular and I have been trying to concieve for 2 years going 3 years now. U have to try and get the pills they really help to regularize you periods. I am still ttc. Dont give up. If u want this baby u have to continue to try and do all that it takes. If u cant afford the pills now just continue ttc with hope. Who knows what can happen for u. However still try your best to get the pills and keep in touch with your doctor. All the best.
