clomid cycle

Hello
I am a mother of two boys.  Both of  whom were conceived through iui.  (Dr.Keefe actually helped my husband and I get pregnant with our first son at W&I in late 2002).  My youngest is just 11 months now.  We are trying for our third.  Since it took 2 years to get pregnant with our first and 3 years to get pregnant with our second, we wanted to try as quickly as possible.
Like the other two pregnancies we are doing clomid cylces.  I have always taken clomid from days 3-7. Then gone in for blood work and ultrasounds on day 12 and 14.  Then been told to take my hgc shot on day 14 to be inseminated 36 hours later.
Well this time for some reason I have been in and out of the drs office all week for blood work and ultrasounds.  I am now on day 15 of my cycle and have to once again go back tomorrow for another ultrasound and more blood work.  My ovaries are getting bigger, as they should each time I go back.   I only have like 4 eggs that are over 10mm, but I have always been like that.  My question is... how much longer before my dr will go ahead with the semination?  I am getting frustrated everytime they call and say we need you to come back in for more bloodwork and another ultrasound.  Is this normal protocal?

Sorry, I just noticed you said you've been getting triggers. In that case, you basically just have to wait for your eggs to be mature (18 mm ore more), then do a trigger and then IUI about 36 hours after that :-)

Four follies are great, though!!! Best of luck!

It depends on the size of the follicles. They have to be above 18 mm to be considered mature. Are you getting a trigger shot?
