I'm sorry it didn't work. Don't give up. It takes some women a few rounds before they get results. It doesn't happen for everyone the first time. I hope you get pregnant with your next round.
I had an ultra sound today the clomid has done nothing dr wants me to start another round of clomid on Monday 75mg this time I have to admit I was very upset I am not use to this kind of disappointment I have a little girl she is three and don't get me wrong I absolutly love her but she has been asking for a sister she doesn't really understand and its hard to explain to her I have been trying for 2 and a half years when. Its it time to say enough is enough and give up I want this so bad but perhaps god is telling me something anyway I don't mean to unleash on u I apoligize I wish I can afford the easyest and more accurate procedure
REs usually do a lot more monitoring than OBs do. As far as Metformin, it's a Class B drug and has not been shown to cause birth defects. I actually was on it up until my 34th week. My baby wasn't born with any defects. Metformin has been shown to actually be extremely helpful when combined with Clomid for women with PCOS. It has even been used to help prevent miscarriages in women with PCOS.
Are you using OPKs to track ovulation? This could be a great help for you. Are you taking your BBT?
It was an ob that perscribed it to me no I am not taking anyother meds for the pcos in fact I read somewhere if u take metformin while ttc the baby would be at risk for birth defects shuch as down syndrom, depression, adhd and autism and more I am not sure what the plaqn is for when I hopfully get pregnant and if I even have to do anything once I have a baby
That is an odd situation because you are supposed to take Clomid on specific days while you have your period. Most people either do days 3-7 or 5-9 of their cycle. Is your doctor going to be monitoring you to see if you ovulated, like with a day 21 test? Which dr gave you the prescription, an OB or RE? Are you taking any medications for your PCOS, like Metformin/Glucophage? Ovulation on Clomid usually occurs within 5-10 days after the last pill, but since you didn't have your period, it's hard to tell when it will occur because you don't really know what cycle day you're on.
