Being oveweight makes a little difficult but it shoudnt stand in your way...im really overweight 300 lbs and im currently 20 weeks pregnant with my first, my issue was not ovulating i would still get my periods every month but that dosent mean you ovulate, after being dx with PCOS i was put on metformin and it dint help me ovulate either i seeked help with a specialist and after almost 7 months of trying all different fertility treaments such as clomid, provera and IUIs i was than dx with high prolactin levels was put on meds for that and than i moved into injectables of gonal-f with ovedril and IUI and thas the combo that got me pregnat at first try!
So if i were you i would seek help asap with a specilist they will narrow down whats causing you from not getting pregnant, and i lost about 20 lbs but they say even 10% of ur total body weight could really make a different too!
Good Luck.

Dear Rasonti,
Overweight can stay in your way but it is not the reason.
Have you visited a fertility doctor?
It is very necessary to visit the fertility doctor also because the cycles are long.
Good luck
Well, there is a lot to consider here. Your weight may make it more difficult for you to conceive, but not necessarily. If your cycles are regular, then you are probably ovulating. Do you know how long your luteal phase is (time from ovulation to first day of period)? If not, you can figure that out by charting your basal body temp. Your temp. should rise slightly after ovulation and stay elevated until your period begins. You can look up how to chart your bbt online. Also, have tried using ovulation predictor tests sticks to see when you ovulate? The best time to try and conceive is the two or three days before ovulation, the day of ovulation, and the day after ovulation. How long have you been trying to conceive?
