Just remember, the less they disturb them the better : ) They are letting them do their own thing : )
Good Luck!!!! Please let us know how many they transfer!
Thanks! I just hope there are some ready to go tomorrow or the dr is going to be dealing with a hysterical woman
your dr is doing what mine did. After day 2 and the decision to go to day 5, they leave the embryo's alone. you will find out when you arrive for your transfer what you have. I was a WRECK thinking i'd show up and i'd have none but i had 3 blasts and 3 that were hanging on (and became day 6 blasts).(ultimately 4 frozen) Anyway - it know this is extremely nerve wracking. Just try to relax. The transfer was actually really relaxing to me (I also did acupuncture right before and after transfer). After i got home from the transfer i was afraid to move! That's where it gets crazy... and the waiting... good luck!!!! oh! and try not to get hung up on the grading. It's all just a crap shoot. I had 2 perfect looking AB graded day 5 blasts and 1 didn't take and the other one was chromosomally abnormal(found out after miscarriage) and lots on the this board have gotten pregnant with B grades, if you have less then A or AB - don't worry! My dr said the grading system is flawed and they're finding out it doesn't really mean anything.
I had the same experience as trh0819. My ER was Tuesday, fertilization report Wednesday, embryo grading report Thursday (today) and transfer tomorrow. They did say I would get another update on the grading tomorrow before the transfer as well.
I'm sure each doctor has a different protocol.
I got an update the following day about how many fertilized and then one more update telling me we'd make it to day 5. The day of my transfer, they said I had two ready to go and the day after they called and told me how many made it to freezing. I wouldn't worry.
