doctors puzzled

Hi everyone. I went to see my gynecologist Thursday and he was really puzzled by my results.  I have pcos. However my doctorate been giving my tests to do, in order to find out if I am infertile. However I did all the tests he asked me to, ultrasounds, blood tests and my partner did his semen analysis.  All and and done, all my tests results including my partners result came back normal. He has also been prescribing metformin and Clomid for me over the past months. So why is it that I am not conceiving? Pls share your views with me. I would really appreciate it.

Hi there - as you have PCOS, there can be ovulation issues, in some cases of PCOS, if clomid and metformin fail, you may have to go for injectables. You will have to give some ovulation stimulation shots, and the doctor can scan and check your egg release status, and accordingly, it can work.

Good luck,
