doubt on pregnancy

I haven't got my periods and my previous month first day was November 29. I should have got my periods Atleast by 3rd Jan if my average period is 35 days. However did a home pregnancy and it says negative result. But did it in the evening, will be checking it again in the morning as i read that will be more accurate. Is this normal or am i getting my periods late, which usually never happens.

Give it a couple more days, if you are pregnant you could've implanted late so it'll take abit linger for the hcg to show in your system. If you still havnt got your period and are 2 weeks late and still testing negative then a blood test at the doctor might be helpful

Test in the morning, if it's still negative then wait a couple more days and if your period is still late then test again.
