finished provera and still no period

It has been 7 days since my last Provera and still no period. This is my 3rd month of taking Provera and in the previous months I started my period on days 8 and days 11 while taking the provera. I take 1 pill for 10days. I noticed brown discharge like I'm about to start yesterday but that has currently stopped. I am having lower back pain, cramping and a mild headache. I'm even fatigued like I should be on my cycle. I have taken a total of 5 home preg test and all were negative.  I have an appointment with my OBGYN scheduled, in two weeks. I am supposed to start taking Clomid this month (days 5-9) whenever my cycle starts. I was taking Vitex (chasteberry) as a herbal remedy before my doctor put me on the Provera. Should I go back to taking it? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Just wanted to post an update. My cycle did finally start on day 53 or day 9 AFTER my 10 days of Provera. I am now taking Clomid 50 mg on days 5-9. This is my first time taking the Clomid and so far I've only experienced some mild cramping and mild headaches. Thank goodness. I have a history of severe migraines. Which I have noticed have decreased since my new GYN  agreed to take me off the Yaz. In fact, I have even been able to stop taking Topamax. Which is an anti-seizure med neurologist give to help suppress migraines. Are there any other "yaz survivors" on this message board? I have had several disturbing side effects from Yaz.

Thanks for the advice. I'll wait a little bit longer to see if anything changes before I try taking anything herbal.

thanks,

Hi,

You should give it a few more days,  It could take a while.  It made me nervous last month when I didnt start 3 days later like i did the first month taking it.

It will work. just be patient!

I will be starting Provera tomorrow and metformin and then clomid 100mg CD 5-9

Good luck
