I just went through a tubal reversal and it was not that much...5,400 In San Dimas, california. I would really talk it over with a Dr. before doing it. He could cause more damage then good if he is just in it for removing the clips and not repairing the and healing the tube. Every time you have surgery you get more scare tissue so be careful

The clips do cause scaring of the tubes.  It is possible to conceive if they are removed but i would say probably very unlikely.  I agree with scienceteacher IVF would be the same cost and give you a better chance.  Good luck!!!

From my understanding, if the tubes were tied then even removing the clips will result in the probability of you conceiving naturally pretty low. The clips probably resulted in scar tissue that would block your fallopin tubes. Only the doc can tell you if it is worth it. From what you wrote "but not cut and repair damage to tubes" - if their is damage to both tubes, you would have a low chance of conceiving without IVF, which is about as expensive as getting your tubes untied. I hope I helped. Good luck.
