home pregnancy test after ivf possibly correct?

I did egg retrieval on 6/10.  ovidrel(hcg)shot on 6/8.  blastocyst transfer on 6/15.  i know they tell you not to take a home test, but i couldn't help myself.  I thought maybe if i took one every couple of days, the results might be more accurate.  i took a test 6/18 was negative.  today 6/21  tested positive.  Is it even possible?

I am 7dpt and have been doing HPT since 4dpt....I am slightly obessesive.  They have all come back BFN.  My blood work is going to be done on Friday so we shall see.  I'll probably do one more tommorrow and then let the blood work on Friday be the final test.  I tested positive with my first one about 5dpt (m/c at 7 weeks).  I am down though...no symptoms and last time I had symptoms.  I was bloated and had cramping and very swollen breasts.  This time nothing.  I feel like any second I could get AF and should on Monday or Tuesday.  Anyone else never have symptoms but test positve with the Dr.
Pinkpanter-there is really no knowing when the IVF will work.  My worked on the first try but I know people who have tried 9 times.  Go for it!

Hello to all.  I am so impressed of the support system here.  I wish I had found this website when I first started my IVF cycle!!!  I am so shocked and I guess a bit relieved that I am not the only one who is going through anxiety.  Dixiegal1, I did almost the exact same thing as you.  I took my hcg shot on 7/23; retrieval on 7/25; transfer of 3 eggs on 7/28.  I am due to take a blood pregnancy test on 8/7 but last night my anxiety and emotions got the best of me.  I was looking for my husband to encourage me to wait until 'Wednesday but of course he didn't.  So, he went to the store and bought  EPT which had three tests in it.  So, we took one last night and the results were positive.  So, first thing this morning I took another one and it also came back positive.  So, of course, tomorrow morning I will take another one just to see and possibly Wednesday before I go to the lab.(LOL) I have faith but I am human as well, so I am asking anyone who could offer any advice rather it is positive or negative feedback.  We decided not to share this experience with any friends or family in case things didn't work out.  Could this possibly be?????

I'm so new to all this, so I don't want to give you any wrong information-- but it certainly does sound good!  The best of luck to you.  I had my blood test today and it was negative.  I'm devastated, but the support from this forum is tremendous.  Please let us know how things go.  I'll be sending you lots of positive thoughts!!!!!!!!
