Have had two doses of Follistim, and boy can I feel it working down there!

So I will be taking my third dose tonight (by the way, you can't even FEEL that injection!  Love that pen!) and going for bloodwork and u/s tomorrow morning.  I am anxious to see how it is working!  They are thinking IUI next Thursday or Friday.

Did anyone have any issues when they were on Follistim?  I am cramping a little and my ovaries feel like they have little stabbing pains every now and then.  Is that normal?

Thanks guys....

Heather

GOOD LUCK tomorrow! : ) hope you have some happy fat follies in there! : )   i did follistim our last cycle (and we got preg from it! )    and i defintely felt twinges down there for sure! i only have one working ovary now.. so its pretty obvious when its "ovary" related since its so one sided!     I loved it too, no pain whatsoever!    the only "issue" i ever had on it and have heard other peopld say is bad headaches a few days after i stopped it... i typically don't get headaches so knew something was up! but it was a lucky headache and i'll be doing it over again come august!   GOOD LUCK to you! : )   keep me updated!

Hi Heather! I've never tried follistim, but just wanted to wish you best of luck tomorrow! I bet you're right that the minor cramps and pains are due to the injections doing their job...but I'm sure your doctor will give you more info tomorrow! SSBD!
