My husband and I want a baby. I only have one tube and one ovary. Does this mean that I can not get pregnant normal? If not what are my options in getting pregnant?

I only have 1 functionning fallopian tube and I am 9 weeks pregnant, got pregnant the ol' fashion way.

I have been trying to conceive for over 2 years and had IVF 8 months ago because I thought it would solve my problem. The IVF failed.

I took DHEA supplements daily plus a prenatal vitamin. I also occasionnaly went to accupuncture to help balance my energy.

Good luck. All you need to get pregnant is 1 ovary and 1 working tube. So yes, you can get pregnant!

You can still get pregnant naturally although, it will be alot harder and take alot longer probably.  Maybe you and your husband can set a time frame on how long you want to ttc naturally and then move on to other options such as IUI or IVF.  You should start checking around your area for fertility clinic's and maybe call a few places.  Even make a consultation appointment and see what they think would be the best option for you.  I am sorry for your struggles.  Good luck and I hope you get your little one soon!
