Start taking a multi-vit if you can (e.g., one a day for men)-add vit C. If you are a biker, I'd limit the time you spend doing so. If you don't exercise regularly, that may help too. Also, like amandamae1126 said, avoid caffeine and alcohol. Eating foods high in antioxidants may also be beneficial (wild blueberries, broccoli, etc.). Intercourse every 36 hours is what I've read is best. Avoid long periods of not having sex before ovulation so that your sperm are more "fresh" too.
Best wishes.
Everyother day is great - you can start doing that now to train your swimmers. Eat a good diet (take it easy on the beer and caffiene). And make it fun for both of you. Also, a good men's supplement wouldn't hurt. Hope that helps!
I just did my first round of femara this past month. I took it days 3-7 of my cycle (some MD's do days 5-9), I went back to MD on day 13 for an u/s to check on follicle growth. On dat 13 I had one in my left ovary measuring 17.5mm. I started OPK testing right away. 2 days later I had a + OPK reading. Went in the next day and had IUI done and I found out on Sunday that I was PG!!
So femara does work! Best of luck to you!
