Trying to concieve with PCOS

Recently I had such a big let down. My boyfriend and I weren't trying to get pregnant, but then I started PMS'ing. And I kept PMS'ing for four months. We took a total of 4 pregnancy tests, one of which actually came up positive, but was in the mix of 2 negatives and a faulty test. So I set up a dr appointment. By the time the appointment had come I had started my period. They wouldn't run any tests on me because I had no health insurance and it wasn't considered important because "you're just having your period, nothing is wrong" Thats what they said to me, even tho pms'ing for four months should indicate a problem. Idk why I told you all that, I guess to hear my sob story. lol. Anyway, we decided maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea, we were both very excited at the possibility. But I have PCOS, and I know nothing about BBT charts or cervical mucus or anything else people use to determine when they are ovulating, and I was hoping maybe somebody could give me some advise. We would like to do it naturally rather than take some fertility drug. Please if you have any tips on this can you help me. I have started checking my cervix, because I guess thats an indication of ovulation, but I don't know how to tell the difference between open and closed, altho I have the height position thing down. Actually, I have been checking my cervix for a long time now, I just didn't know what I was checking for. The last few days its been out of my reach tho, no matter how hard I try I just can't seem to reach it. Anyway....thats enough about my situation I guess. Please help if you can.

first around the time of ovulation your cervical mucus increases that will let you know it's time

then you need to get a BBT which is a Basil Body Thermometer because when you ovulate your body temp will elevate slightly leave it by your bed and every morning before you get up and move around check your temp this will also help you know what your baseline is then on the day you notice a little peak it's time for some baby making GOOD LUCK

For most people with Pcos trying to concieve on there own is almost impossible. Since most dont ovulate on there own or only ovulate once every few months. If you are ovulating on your own you shouldnt have that much of a problem. You should get an ovulation kit to start testing to see when you ovulate if you ovulate at all. Its alot better than checking your temps. You can really only get pregnant about three days out of the month so you dont want to miss those days.
As far as you not getting your cycle and pmsing for 4 months is normal with pcos. It can mess with our hormones and make your cycle abnormal.
Good luck Lots of baby dust!
