how many days after iui would you get pregnancy symptoms OPEN

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me when I should start to having pregnancy symptoms after iui. I am 6 days post iui and yesterday I started feeling naused. It woke me up during the night and I still feel the same today. I don't know if I have a bug or if is maybe a sign. I also took 10,000 units of HCG trigger shot but it has been 8 days since I had shot so I don't know if that could be it. Please HELP!!!

Hi ladies,
Just a quick update. Went to my RE yesterday to check the follicle size. We were planning to get the 2nd iui done this week (Frid or Thurs), unfortunately we found out 2 follies of 10mm each only... As I said before, we were going for the 2nd iui without any meds....my doc says we got to wait until Friday to see if the follie (s) increase (s) /mature (s) by then, otherwise we cant go for the iui this month....quite disappointed really...seems every time there is a new obstacle...dont know what to do or think.....

I actually did acupuncture and took Chinese herbs prior to seeing my RE.  As someone very up-to-date on current fertility research, she recommended that I stop taking the herbs but continue with acupuncture.  According to her, the acupuncture was proven effective when combined with Western medicine, whereas the herbs did not seem to help. I looked up some of the articles myself - in JAMA and other medical journals - and found that this was a pretty consistent argument.  Although there are always new studies to support/discourage such interventions, I did not become pregnant until after I stopped taking the herbs (which I did both because of my doctor's recommendation and because I didn't know how they'd interact with the Clomid I was taking). I think, like Praying2bamommy suggested, it's vital to find an acupuncturist who specializes in infertility and is aware of any other pharmaceutical drugs you are taking.  My acupuncturist was not entirely enthusiastic about Clomid, but supported my decision to try it and agreed to stop administering the herbs once I began treatment with my RE.  When it comes down to it, I think it's important to do what you are doing and seek as much information as possible before consenting to any treatment.

I have been doing accupuncture weekly, for the past 1.5 year. I have also been taking chinese herbs, daily, prescribed by my accupuncturist. They do help and somehow regulate your body better, and they don't interfere with IUI. I say this based on my experience and the meds I take... I'd recommend that you speak to a chinese medicine doctor and see what they will give you based on your condition.

I know several individuals, including myself, who have gotten pregnant doing accupuncture and chinese herbs. You just have to go to an accupuncturist who specializes in infertility.

Good Luck!

Went for my scan this morning to check follicle growth, Right ovary 17mm & 20mm but my endo was only 6.1 so cant have IUI this month, but I have just found out that for the last 3 months I have not been ovulating according to my blood tests. I spoke to the consultant and she wont change my meds or up the dosage.  I am on Glocophage sr and clomid 50mg day 2 to 6 and had the HCG shot last month for IUI.

I feel so down why wont they change my meds as they obviously have not been working.  So last months IUI was a total waste of time.  I feel very angry and upset that they wont do anything else.  Consultant said we will try for IUI again next month but there is no point in me wasting another IUI (I can only have 3 free on NHS) when I am clearly not ovulating.  I am feely very down and have been crying all afternoon.  I hate this aching in my heart so much I cry when I see babies or pregnant women.  I just dont know what to do for the best anymore.
