I agree with the above. If you truly think something is wrong then it is better to see your specialist sooner than later. If you want to give it a few more months then maybe begin using OPKs and making sure that you're having sex during the right time. Also, I've heard that if you stop trying you get pregnant a lot quicker. I think this is because you're not letting it consume you and you're more relaxed about it. I know it's tough, but I've been trying over a year with nothing yet. I am taking a more relaxed approach this month and just glad all of our fertility test have come back good. I will start clomid next month, but again in the mean time I'm just trying to relax, enjoy my hubby, and let it happen. Relax if you can and think about the next steps you want to take to get your BFP. That may be getting an appointment and beginning the fertility process or getting OPKs and monitoring your cycle and ovulation. Good luck!

Hi Madalyn, you should really set up an appt with your Dr to do some preliminary tests to see what could be wrong. Normally if you've been trying for 6 months and haven't gotten pregnant, there could be other issue. The sperm does not need to stay inside of you as there are millions of little swimmers, so the good ones should be far up inside so don't worry about the stuff that comes out. The Dr could check his sperm count to see if everything is normal with him. Also you want to make sure you are regular, your Dr will check that out for you too. Are you having normal periods? How many days apart are your periods? Which give a little clue on if you are ovulating regularly? Also they can do tests to see if your tubes are blocked.  Me and my hubby were trying for a whole year and after seeing the Dr found out both tubes are blocked within a month. Got tubes removed and did IVF, now I'm 6 weeks pregnant with twins! The sooner you get in the better. I waited a whole year, but if I knew what I know now, I would have gone in after 6 months or less. Especially if you are younger, you should be able to conceive naturally within a few months if nothing is wrong. Good luck in trying to conceive. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.
