I am also on prometrium but my RE has me use it vaginally instead of orally .
nicky,
have you ever actually had your levels tested? while yes, progesterone can definitely be a factor in miscarriage, you want to make sure yours is actually low, or you could upset the progesterone/estrogen ratio. thyroid function can also play a role, as can cortisol (adrenal function). the endocrine system is reallllly sensitive and complicated-- i would just say, be careful and only proceed if you actually know that your levels are in need of supplementation.
all the very best!

Google freedom fertility. They will overnight them to you, & I don't think you need a prescription for progesterone, but I could be wrong. You can also go w/a natural cream version.
Good luck
I am on 50mg of progesterone suppositories that have to be made at a compounding pharmacy. I get mine shipped and they are working cuz my temps have gone up. The suppositories go straight to the area needed from what I hear.
I am on prometrium which is an oral form of progesterone.
