Ttc, sex amont
My husband and I decided to try for baby #2 and i read every where that every other day is sufficient but i just dont feel that its enough! My husband works a lot so i dont want to make sex a chore or not fun but i just feel like im cutting my chances significantly by doing it every other day, any input is appreciated!
Thank you ladies, i did get pregnant very quickly last time, about 2 months of really trying, hopefully it will be the same, and i think ill def. Be ovulating soon due to the CM change, thanks again!
Definitely agree - keep an eye on your cervical mucous and when it's most egg-white-like you're most likely about to ovulate pretty soon afterwards so that's the most important time to BD!
Just remember though it can take a healthy normal couple at least a year to conceive naturally. Even if it happened quickly before, doesn't mean it will happen as quick the next time. Not trying to put you off obviously, just wanted you to be aware so you're not too disheartened if it doesn't happen when you expect it to. That's the worst! Enjoy yourselves and make it fun so it doesn't feel like it's all for business purposes!

Yes definitely every other day, this is plenty. Completely agree with kitkat, if you don't give the sperm enough time to replenish it may be a lot weaker/less volume.
My acupuncturist recommends to make sure you start on day 8, then 10, 12, 14 etc until day 18. Obv adjust this depending on your length of cycle, and you must have sex on a day you have stretchy clear mucus - sorry to go onto so much detail, but this is a must as this of course carries the sperm up to where it needs to go :o) Best of luck.

Yup i do! Im suspecting it soon but well Bd every other day between the 10th and 18th just to be sure, my o day should be around the 14th, im covering enough time by doing it between then right?
Every other day is the correct way to have sex. Sperm needs time to build up so by having sex every day, the sperm count is lower - having it every other day means it builds up more.
Bare in mind that this also needs to be timed to coincide with ovulation so I would track your cycles (if you don't already) to see when you ovulate and then you should be having sex every other day leading up till ovulation and then again after.
