if you used clexane during preg

Hello. I've had my ivf in the UK with a great consultant. According to his leaflet I should stop clexane by 12 weeks but I left the country when i was 11 weeks and cant see him anymore. I met my local consultant who advised me to stay on it through preg. I also took a 2nd opinion from a high risk preg consultant who said I can stop or continue! Drs can still change their prescriptions according to scans.

When were you off clexane?
Im almost 16 weeks now

Thanks in advance ladies xx

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
A detailed history, clinical examination and work up is necessary for accurate diagnosis and management of your condition. The duration of usage of any drug depends on the indication and cause. Any medicine may be safely used in pregnancy or breastfeeding providing the benefits to the mother outweigh the risks to the unborn baby. Clexane is not recommended for use in pregnancy unless considered essential by your doctor. Seek medical advice from your doctor about its usage or stoppage. I sincerely hope it helps.Best wishes and regards!

I'm going to take Clexane all 9 months and 6 weeks after delivery. I'll stop it 24 hours before Apedural injection if I'll need it. I have clots in my Lungs because of the IVF treatments, so I bad example :)
I know few friends who also used it all thid period.
All depends on your medical condition and the reason you started with Clexane.
Good luck!
