my first BFP wasn't until 8dp3dt and the tests i used were down to 20 hcg....and the line was almost non-existent. i tested negative at 7.
so WAY too early :)
Thank you for the support....I figured it was way to early.....just anxious. I had 3 egss retrieved and all 3 fertilized. They were transfered on day 3. Nothing was frozen. It is nice to have a place to go and chat with othes about this experiance. It is hard for people that haven't been through this to fully understand the emotions.
Thanks again to all!
way too early to test! i did a 5 day transfer and also tested negative on day 4 (I don't even know why I bothered to test) but i did get a faint positive on day 5. Wait a few more days and test again. good luck!
Miranda- 4dpt is way too early. The positive you got was because of the left over trigger. So the negative result is that all the trigger hcg is out. You should wait for your beta or try to hpt 10dpt. So don't be sad..smile it's too early to test. Good luck!
that is most definitely too early to test .. was it a 3 or 5 day transfer? was it a fresh or frozen round? even if it was 5, that would only make it 9 days past ovulation and even if the embie has implanted .. it's another couple of days before it starts releasing hcg and then it has to be high enough to show in your urine so can be another couple of days before a test is accurate
I had a 5dt and tested at 5dp 5dt and got a negative .. today at 7dp 5dt I got a clear positive but I know plenty of women who had negative hpt's right up till their beta .. I know the wait is excruciating but try to stay calm and leave it till after the weekend if you want to test again .. even then it might not be accurate!
there is a table of hpt result statistics on the fertility friend site under FAQs .. I found it really helped me when I was getting down at getting negative results .. if you want the link message me and I'll send it privately (the forum doesn't let me put it up) good luck!!
