lighter period after baby

I am wondering if it is normal that my period is much lighter since the birth of my baby which was 1 year ago.  Prior to being pregnant, my period would be quite heavy and last for 6-7 days. Now it is very light and barely lasts 3, I also do not get any cramps. My hormone levels are fine. I find this strange.

I was just wondering about this as I think anyway I started my period today even though it's only one month since the birth of my baby.  It seems lighter but I guess I'll have to wait and see.

I've heard that it's normal for your period to change after a pregnancy. I used to have longer, heavier periods too. Now they're much lighter and only last for a few days. I don't have any children yet, but I've had two miscarriages over the past 2 1/2 years.
