cyst

Hi ive married for 3 yrs and dying to have a baby but i just discover ive a cyst on my left ovary. Do you think i should go for surgery to clear it? Is it because of the cyst that i cannot get pregnant? Pls help..

If your doc didn't get concerned about the cyst, you shouldn't either. Regular simple cysts go away on their own. Complex cysts (ones that also have a solid component to them) are the kind that need further evaluation.

Simple cysts won't get in the way of conceiving either. Most women get them and don't even know it.

It depends on what type of cyst, how many there are, and if it is growing or stagnant. There is no simple answer:/
