+ smiley CD9? ADVICE NEEDED

Hello ladies,

I've just gotten my first smiley on a clearblue digital opk, decided to invest in these b/c I was sick of trying to guess my results on a test with lines ( is it darker etc) So the story goes my AF cycles have been any where from 30/31 days............... but this last one was 27 days. I only tested tonight b/c I was having light cramping pains on my right side about overy height! and it was a +

So my question goes............... is it possible to conceive this early in a cycle if we catch that little egg and have a viable p/g ?

FEEL FREE TO CHECK MY CHART ,

thanks for any replies/advice

Congrats on the +opk!  I love seeing that smiley face =)  Gigi is right.  Get busy 'cause you should O within 12-36 hours of getting your +.  Best of luck to you! =)

I actually heard from somebody that they got pg both times when their O was unusually early in the cycle. I always have my O on d 13-14, but last cycle it was d11 and I did get pg (first time in over a year), however it turned out to be a chemical pg :(
So I am just trying to say that it might be a very good sign!! Good LUCK!

When I was using a monitor some months I would ovulate on the 14th and others on the 18th so it totally makes sense that you would ovulate early. The 28 day cycle is for health class not the real world :) Have FUN and good luck!!!

I'm pretty sure that it is AOK.

I told my FS that I usually O around day 10 or 11 and he did not seem at all concerned.

I believe that women ovulate within 12 to 36 hours of receiving a positive OPK test, so that would likely mean that you are Oing on day 10 or maybe even 11.

Sorry, but I cant seem to check your chart.

The earlier than usual ovulation is likely indicating that you will be having another short cycle this month.  I think that the follicular phase (phase before ovulation) can fluctuate, but it is the luteal phase that remains the same.  I'm pretty sure that having a short luteal phase would be a much bigger concern.

I wouldnt worry too much about it, and I would be really happy that you got that positive OPK!!!!  Thank heavens you checked!!!!  Now for the fun stuff... time to BD like crazy to try to catch that egg!!!

All the best!
Gigi
