no heart beat at 7wk scan

on 1st cycle of icsi and had 2 grade b embryos implanted 21/2/08 - went today for scan and although there was 1 sac with something in it, no heartbeat was found - should i be worried ?

Don't give up the faith.  Usually this early the heartbeat can only be seen and a lot of ultrasonographers would not even see it this early.  Keep your prayers up, I will be praying for you!!

I'll be praying for you. I went for 6 wk check and they at least saw the heartbeat but at 8 1/2 wks I had had a missed miscarriage.  You're in my thoughts and praying for a healthy outcome for you!

Your baby will be fine and perfectly healthy.  congrats......

thanks BB - been so long since had a natural cycle can only go on expected dates - working from 4/2/08 should be 8 wks now (although i know i'm only really just over 5) will try to stay positive and await next scan on 02/04/08.

Normally when you can hear the baby heartbeat around 9th or 10th weeks after your last menstrual cycle.  so i think 7 weeks is still too early.
