not ovulating

So...heard from the doctor my estrogen is low and my progesterone is .6 so very low.  He thinks I didn't ovulate this cycle and he says that some people don't o every cycle.  Guys...I'm beat...I'm so upset.  These past 4 months have been the worst.  He said if the spotting is bothering me he will give me Provera to start af.  Why bother...it's not going to help my o situation.  Today is CD29 my cycle is usually 35-38 days....guess I just have to wait...thanks for listening to me vent!

He gave me the script for clomid.  It's 50 mg and he said to take it for 5 days.  I thought I was spotting on Sat. but I think it's af b/c it hasn't stopped.   I got in tomorrow for a sono and blood work.  Then he is going to tell me when to take the Clomid...and we'll see.  He agreed with me clomid may be in order.  He doesn't think I've o'ed since I got preg. in April...I think he is going to monitor me daily and tell me when to bd!  Don't think I can miss this month!  Thanks girls for giving me the courage to ask!

Girl ask for it now 3rd month I got my BFP on it.  I'd say try it can't hurt anything.....Usually they start you on Cd 3-7  my Dr. put me 3-9.....so who knows.   Good luck and let me know what he says.

I actually just emailed him...my dh doesn't agree with me...but you know what I don't really care at this point.  It has been 4 mos. and I've had one period..obviously I'm not o'ing right at all.  I just want to do something about it.  To be honest with you we aren't really all that religious but he keeps saying that if God wants it to be it will be.  You know how long should I wait?  It's stressing me and that can't be good either....how are you doing?

I'm so sorry!  You should definately say something to him about Clomid though.  It worked for me my first month!

I'm seeing an RE.  I'm also very surprised he didn't mention it to me.  He is the same RE that gave my friend CLomid when she wasn't o'ing.  Now she's 18 weeks pregnant.  Do you guys think i should mention it to him?  When in your cycle do they give it to you?  My bleeding picked up tonight I think it might be af...I've had cramps all day.  I don't want to waste another month.

Are you seeing an ob or a reproductive specialist? I am with Brandi..I can't believe that they are just letting you linger on like this!  The very first test that I had was progesterone to see if I was o'ing (and then I have had one pretty much every month since...), then they put me on Clomid to increase my egg production and gave me trigger shots to get induced ovulation!

I am sooo sorry that you are going thru all of this! :(

Actually that was the first thing she gave me without even testing to see if I was or not but after testing later she said there was no way I was Oing regularly for my progestrone levels being so low.  She actually started me on 50 mg and my CD 21 progestrone check was 10.99  she said she liked to see it higher around 15+ to show I was responding to the clomid so the next month she put me on 100 mg and CD 21 check was 12.02  so the next month she gave me 150 mg and CD 21 check was 21.21 and BFP......so I would ask you RE about it......maybe he just needs the suggestion.

You know he didn't even mention it to me.  I guess he figures that b/c I got preg. in May easily then I must o on my own.  This is just torture...I hate it and it's making me really upset.  How long did they wait to give you clomid after they knew you weren't o'ing?  I hope your progesterone test goes well...good luck and keep me posted!

Honey why don't they give you clomid?  I don't usually O without clomid and am surprized if I actaully did this time I'm getting a progestrone check when I leave work today.  But I wasn't Oing without it....
