omg!!! this is wierd.

so i had my first u/s on friday and i measured 5 weeks.  the dr saw everything that he wanted to see and told me i was doing great.  7 hours later at work i was totally stressed out and as i was standing there i had a HUGE gush of blood.  that's right red, red, blood.  of course i freaked.  45 min later i passed a golf ball sized clot and i thought for sure that was my baby.  i was devistated.  this a.m.  i had another u/s done at RE:s office just to confirm what had happened and again---  the baby was there and everything is perfect.  the dr also did an internal exam and that was perfect.  so i guess my point to my story is YES you can bleed when preggo.  and still come out okay.  i realize that i am still very early and that anything could happen but for the time being all looks perfect and i couldn't be happier.  thank you all for your prayers and comments on my other thread.

I started AF on time last month the 7th, I never passed any lumps or clumps (sorry), I bled for 10 days and imagine I had my second u/s today with my little bean ( the heart was beating away)  if the embryo implants near a big vessel and causes a bleed the blood will pool up at the bottom of the uterus and eventually have to come out.  I am not sure where 10 days of slow bleeding came from, but I guess the uterus is full of blood vessels in order for the little bean to have a good supply.

Sorry about your scare
