i have had b/w,hsg and everything in between, everything came back fine. they arent sure why i cant get pregnant. so they want me to try femara again and if that doesnt work i have to dicuss other options.
Unfortunately, it's more common than most women realize. Even having normal cycles doesn't mean you are indeed ovulating. Hormones are the most common reason. Usually, due to a problem in the pituatary gland. Other problems are thyroid, PCOS, endo.....the list goes on. Have you had a panel run to see what may be the cause? Usually bloodwork and u/s can resolve a lot of issues. Next step would be a lap to see if there is blockage in the tubes. I am sorry you are having trouble, too.
Woman's reproductive systme is very complex. There are so many hormones involved and with each having their role to play in terms of being secreted in the right amount at the right time. To add to the complexiity, there is the internal environment should be right....the different organs involved should be in perfect state and the mucus should be welcoming, etc. And I think there is a reason to that...otherwise all would be popping out babies on a cough.
Only if everything is in equilibrium and on time, will a baby be made. For some of us, this equilibrium is distrubed, and thus some of us dont ovulate on time or as often...other have other problems....
But nothing to feel small about, afterall it is a human organ....we have to work with what we have and try our best...and beleive me on trying persistently, you do get results.
So keep trying.
