Obesity can affect fertility by causing hormonal imbalances and problems with ovulation. It is a known risk factor for ovulation problems, but it also contributes to infertility in women who ovulate normally he baby. There are certain risks associated with pregnancy and obesity like hypertension, preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, infection, thromboembolic disease, need for induction of labour, Caesarean birth and stillbirth.It is best to switch over to a healthy eating and regular exercise plan.
