Just had a friend call and tell me that she is 5 months pregnant and in total SHOCK, because after her last child which was 4 yrs ago, she signed forms to have a tubes burnt, tied, and clipped. The doctor was in shock he was certain that he performed that procedure perfectly, and he showed her the forms that she'd signed four years ago. Through our lord and Savior anything is possible!

After reading all these comments, it makes me sad to realize so many woman are persuaded into a tubal ligation. i myself did not want one but did it to please my mother and husband. the docs should really give counseling before making such a drastic decision, maybe then there wouldn't be so many disappointed women.

yes you can still get pregnant. i had my tubes tied after my last baby, and just a few months later i woke up with severe pain in my stomach and was rushed to the emergency room by ambulance to find out that i was 8 to 9 weeks pregnant and the baby was in my fallopian tube which was attached to my ovary. and my stomach had been feeling up with blood for the past few days and i then had to be rushed into surgery where they had to remove the baby along with my left fallopian tube and ovary. i also had to have a blood transfusion cuz i lost over half the blood in my body. the doctor said that if i would have waited any longer i more than likely would have died. so be careful.
