pregnancy after an HSG

I just had my HSG done last week (after 19 months of ttc). She said the tubes were clear. I was wondering if anyone here has had this done (I ovulate in the next 2 days so my fingers are crossed). I read somewhere that the chances of getting pregnant after an HSG increase significantly. Does anyone here know anything about this or even had this done and had a better success rate?

HEY, welcome gata and kristy, hi to mckenziava. im also fairly new, i look forward to seeing these post. im 38 yrs old and i have no children. sometimes i feel im less of a woman and people who knows me ask questions like, what r u waiting on, dont u see ur clock is ticking! i sometimes lie to the ones i havent seen in years, when they ask, so how many kisds, i just so two, usually they dont try to ridicule me after.
i had hsg done in march, my aunt came as was expected, i had no activity as my husband was not around. they told me both tubes were blocke, but every thing was so painful even though i had taken meds prior to. i somtimes think my tubes went into spasm because of the pain. anyway, my doc put me on clomid, which i took. i worked  the entire ovulation perid, so i am very hopefull, if ant flow doesnt come by the 5, im doing a tet. hey, scatter baby dust for me. all u girls TTC dont worry, it will happen real soon

thanks for following up with me!  you dont know how good that makes me feel!  Soooo your friend got pregnant after she got negative results? thats wonderful !! it would be such  a surprise for me.  and I thought about going to the doctor but i dont know i think im gonna wait it out and see what happens this month?  All the hope that you are giving me , I feel  this month is going to be our month CROSS YOUR FINGERS!!!

Are u taking any other medications this month ? like letrozole or clomid??
