pregnancy test

i had artificial insemitation on friday 3rd october 2008 and im due to take a pregnancy test this friday 17 october, i know i should of waited, but i took a hpt today infact i took 2 and both came up positive, how true can this test be? do you think result will change come friday? please help me love michelle

I would call your doctor and ask what they think, that way you don't get your hopes up too much and then get let down, I  think that would be hard. That way, if the doctor verifies it, You can Celebrate your BFP!! I hope you are pregnant!!

hi thank you both for replying to my question i took 2 tests yesterday both came back with 2 lines but faint lines which were both postive, i took 1 this morning again 2 lines and another 1 at 4ish again 2 lines,dont know whether to be excited or what dont want to be too excited case they wrong,

Hi there. I have recently taken a hpt one came back positive the other was digital and came back negative. I guess digital are more sensitive and I probably tested too early with that one. In fact I tested 6 days before my period and I had one postive. I have never had 2 lines and not been pg however after joining this wesite I guess it's not uncommon to have false positive tests. I'm going to get my blood drawn and will probably in the mean time re test but I have no signs of my pg. I have been ttc since I m/c last month consistantly so i feel pg I'm sure I'am how about you? Do you have any signs or symptoms. Let me know but oh ya did you take a early pg test? Take a test on fri ttoo. I'm sure it will be positive in fact take a digital My suggestion is ept. I think I've heard 10 days also as the period to wait after a trigger shot but I'm in no way sure.  I would only suggest taking another one tonight or tomorrow since they would be well over the 10 days and then I'd get excited.  

I really hope it's a true BFP for you!!

I think this sounds good. I've heard people usually wait about 10 days. Congrats :)
