progesterone levels

I have been trying to conceive for 6 months with no luck. I have been charting my bbt and it seems that I ovulate. However, I got my progesterone levels checked at what I believe to be 2 or 3 days past "ovulation" and they were only 1.2. My obgyn said this means I did not ovulate. If I do not ovulate then why does my bbt indicate so and why do my breasts get extremely sore after what I believe to me "ovulation"?

I am supposed to start clomid next cycle. How long have you been on it and have you had any side effects? My doctor hasn't done any ultra sounds on me. I'm hoping this is the problem. Sometimes I feel like they are rushing me out the door and I can't get my explanations.

I don't think it means your not ovulating. I had to be put on progesterone when I was pregnant BC I wasn't producing enough. However I still had a miscarriage.
