rh negative

My blood type is O negative and my husband is A positive I've heard that if you are an rh negative blood type it can cause problems when you are trying to get pregnant.  Is this true and is there anything I can do about it?

I have never had any problems getting pregnant and am rh -. However with my first pregnancy I had complications and due to my rh my body began to eat my placenta and my son was no longer thriving. He was delivered about a month early but both of my babies and pregnancies since then have been great no negative effects from ny rh factor so good luck :)
